Massage Client Expectations: 

  1. Clients can expect a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment during their massage therapy sessions.

  2. Clients can expect massage therapists to respect their privacy and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

  3. Clients can expect massage therapists to use techniques and products that are appropriate for their specific needs and health conditions.

  4. Clients can expect massage therapists to provide a detailed intake and assessment to determine the best course of treatment.

  5. Clients can expect to be fully draped during the massage therapy session, with only the areas being worked on exposed.

  6. Clients can expect to be informed of any uncomfortable sensations or concerns during the massage therapy session and encouraged to communicate their needs.

  7. Clients can expect to be always treated with respect and dignity.

  8. Clients can expect to be informed of the payment policy and any fees for missed appointments or cancellations.

Personal Training
Policies and Expectations:

  1. Scheduling and Cancellation Policy: Clients are expected to schedule their sessions in advance and provide adequate notice if they need to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in fees.

  2. Payment Policy: Clients are expected to pay for their sessions in a timely manner, either before or after each session. The specific payment methods and rates will be outlined in the agreement between the client and personal trainer.

  3. Health and Safety Policy: Clients are expected to disclose any health conditions or injuries that may impact their training. Personal trainers will conduct a fitness assessment to determine the best course of action and provide modifications if necessary. Clients should also inform their personal trainer of any changes in their health status.

  4. Client Conduct Policy: Clients are expected to arrive on time for their sessions, dress appropriately for physical activity, and follow the personal trainer's instructions and recommendations. Clients should not engage in any behavior that is harmful or harassing towards the personal trainer.

  5. Trainer Conduct Policy: Personal trainers are expected to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, provide a safe and supportive environment, and avoid any behavior that is harmful or harassing towards clients.

  6. Confidentiality Policy: Personal trainers are expected to maintain client confidentiality and not share any personal or health information without the client's consent.

    Client Expectations: Clients can expect their personal trainer to design a customized fitness plan based on their goals and needs. They can also expect their personal trainer to provide encouragement, support, and motivation during each session. Clients should also expect to be held accountable for their progress and to receive feedback on their performance.

POLICIES


SCHEDULING

·  Appointments can be made directly through Muscular Mechanism’s website, phone call or text.

·  All clients will be required to provide credit card information to schedule an appointment.

·  Appointments are scheduled based on the availability of the therapist.

·  Muscular Mechanism strives to accommodate all scheduling requests but cannot guarantee specific appointment times. 

CANCELLATION

·  Clients need to provide 24 hours or more to cancel or reschedule and appointment.

·  All clients will have a one-time no show or same day cancellation.

·  Clients will be charged 100% of their service fee if they no show an appointment

·  Clients will be charged 50% of their service fee if they cancel same day of appointment.

·  Emergencies and illnesses will be taken into consideration, and Muscular Mechanism will work with the clients to reschedule their appointment to a later date. 

PAYMENT

·  Payment is due at the of service. Cards on file will be charged at the end of the session.

·  Muscular Mechanism accepts cash and credit cards.

·  If a client is paying with a gift card, the card must be present at the time of service.

·  Muscular Mechanism does not accept insurance at this time, but clients may submit receipts to their insurance company for reimbursement.

·  Package deals and pre-paid services must be used within the specified time frame and are non-refundable. 

CONFIDENTIALITY

·  Muscular Mechanism recognizes the importance of protecting clients’ personal and medical information and will take all necessary steps to ensure that this information remains confidential.

·  Personal and medical information collected during the intake process will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing massage therapy services.

·  Personal and medical information will not be disclosed to any third party unless required by law.

·  Muscular Mechanism will maintain secure storage of all client information, including electronic and paper records.

·  Muscular Mechanism will destroy client information when it is no longer needed for the provision of services.

·  Muscular Mechanism will take all necessary steps to prevent unauthorized access to client information, including password protection for electronic records and secure storage of paper records.

·  Clients have the right to access their personal and medical information and to request correction of any inaccuracies. 

HEALTH & SAFETY

·  Muscular mechanism is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for both clients and therapists.

·  The massage therapy room will be cleaned and disinfected before each appointment.

·  The therapist will wash hands before and after each client.

·  All linens and towel’s will be laundered after each use.

·  Therapist will not perform massage on clients who are experiencing fever, open wounds, or contagious skin conditions.

·  Muscular Mechanism will maintain a well-stocked first-aid kit and will follow all relevant health and safety regulations. 

THERAPIST CONDUCT

·  Will always conduct themselves in a professional manner.

·  Will treat clients with respect and maintain a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment.

·  Will not engage in any behavior that is harmful, harassing, or exploitative towards clients. Including not engaging in any behavior sexual in nature.

·  Will not use cell phones or engage in other distractions during client appointments.

·  Will comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.

·  Will participate in continuing education and training to maintain their professional competency. 

CLIENT CONDUCT

·  Clients will always conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.

·  Clients will treat massage therapist with respect and maintain a safe, comfortable, and confident environment.

·  Clients will not engage in any behavior that is harmful, harassing, or exploitative towards massage therapist. Including not engaging in any behavior sexual in nature.

·  Clients will always maintain appropriate physical boundaries with massage therapist.

·  Clients under the influence alcohol or drugs, including prescriptions will not be seen.

·  Clients will arrive on time (Preferably 10 mins prior) for their appointment time and needs to provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

·  Clients will comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
